Americans can visit Spain visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Spain is part of the Schengen Area, so your time here counts toward the shared 90/180 day limit. The Canary Islands and Balearic Islands are included. Starting Q4 2026, you'll also need ETIAS travel authorization.
